Day 9: Favorite Holiday recipe
Simple and yummy!!!
Peanut butter balls:
18 oz. peanut butter
1/2 lb. butter
1-1/2 lb. powdered sugar
3/4 slab food-grade paraffin wax
18 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Mix peanut butter, butter and sugar. Roll into small balls and freeze (overnight if possible). Insert toothpick. Use double boiler and melt wax and chocolate chips. Dip balls and set on waxed paper until cool.
And
Haystacks:
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. peanut butter
1 tbsp. butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chow mein noodles
Melt butter and chips together. Add peanut butter; stir until well blended. Add chow mein noodles and mix well. Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper. Let set up and enjoy.
