Daycare

So after being watched by a private sitter since February 23, Kyndall is starting daycare tomorrow.

She will be 1 of 4 and the only little girl in her class. Two of the other little ones are also starting tomorrow and the other has been there for 3 months already. She will also be the youngest LO in the center. (They don't take little ones until 6 months, but because she turns 6 months in June, she was able to start)

I'm nervous because I had really just got comfortable dropping her off at the sitter's house. However, the room she will be in is the same room that she is in on Sunday mornings for church. (In fact, I saw her name above her bed this morning when I dropped her off in the church nursery.)

My little girl is growing up

My little girl isn't so little anymore. Well, at least not compare to when she was born.

In the past couple of weeks, we have introduced rice cereal to her diet-which she seems to be doing OK with. I think we are going to try green beans Thursday.

We have moved into size 1-2 diapers-mostly because we ran out of size 1s and we have close to 600 size 1-2s. She is wearing 0-3 month clothes better. Some are still a little big, but she is starting to fill them out. The biggest problem with newborn clothes is that she is starting to get to long for them.

She has started grabbing for things. Tonight she was leaning forward in her Bumbo and was able to pick up her paci off the bed. She is also taking things straight to her mouth! She is chewing on any and every thing.

She has mastered rolling from back to tummy but hasn't really figured out how to go back. Sometimes she gets frustrated and falls asleep. Speaking of sleep, she has almost cut out her late night/ early morning feeding. She has slept for 9+ hours straight several nights in the last 2 weeks.

I can't believe she is almost 5 months old! Where did the time go?! I am going to have to put her back on the Wii Fit board to get a weight check on her, but I'm pretty sure we have past the 11lb mark!
