Thoughtless Thursday

I know I haven't done this in a while, but Thursdays mean "Thoughtless Thursday" over at Life in the Fulmer Lane, to whom a HUGE CONGRATS goes to!!! Yea for a baby!

So Katie, and everyone else, here's what you can expect when your little one finds the mud hole in the front yard!

No, that isn't poop all over the back of Kyndall's outfit, it is mud. From where you might ask? Our sidewalk. Yes, we have a small mud puddle on our front walkway, and Kyndall found it...

And she didn't just get it on her hiney. She got it all over her leg. Shes saving us money by doing mud baths at home, in our front yard, rather than the spa! Hey, you get what you can take, right? HA!

Here's Kyndall and Daddy playing with the grass after Kyndall gave up on playing in the mud.

So Katie, make sure you have plenty of OxyClean when your little one gets moving! You'll need it for lots of reasons!

Congrats again to the Fulmer's! November will be here before you know it!

Weekend Wrap-Up

Wow...So I didn't do a lot of posting last week did I?

The last part of last week was a little crazy.

Thursday Kyndall and I went to Julie's house for a play date. She has 2 little boys, ages 5 and 1. She is also pregnant with a little girl and is due in late August! Friday I had to be at work at 7AM and got off at 6PM, with an hour lunch break.

Friday night, we went to eat with Chad's grandfather and then went to Target to get a few things- though we did forget a couple of items, but I guess that's what happens when you don't make a list.

Saturday, Chad has his THEA test that morning so Kyndall and I just hung out at home. That afternoon, my business partner came over, and we discussed a few shirts that we are making. We also played outside, and Kyndall found the dirt! Then(after giving Kyndall a bath), we took a trip to Wal-Mart to get things to make pig in a blanket so we could take them to church this morning.

This morning we(ok, Chad) got up and made breakfast. I got up with Kyndall and got her breakfast and then dressed for church. After church, Chad rearranged the garage so that we can get to the treadmill. Kyndall played some, and I made sure she wasn't under foot while Chad was moving things around. Then it was nap time! Around 4:30, we went for a walk around the neighborhood. Then dinner, play time, and bed.

Not sure what this week holds, but hopefully it'll go a little faster, with next weekend going a little slower! HA!

Name Sake

Enjoy these pictures of Kyndall's smile!

They are priceless! I don't know how anyone could hurt a person with a smile that can light up the room!

Picture Me Monday

Wednesday night, we(ok, I) got brave and decided to pull out the paper and the paint and let Kyndall at it. She enjoyed it and her picture is pretty much one of a kind! And she even enjoyed the bath that she took afterwards because not only did she paint the paper, but she painted her hands, legs, and tummy as well!
Her art is hanging proudly on the fridge with requests from her grandparents for their own Kyndall masterpiece. I guess we'll need to have art time more often!

Before the Rain

Yesterday, we went out to Chad's grandfather's house so that Kyndall could run around and not have her parents worry.

Our yard, both front and back, are super wet so if we go outside to play, its on the sidewalk or in the driveway. Not so much fun.

Chad's grandfather lives out in the country so Kyndall had plenty of room to run and play.

Running with the flower she picked(with daddy's help.)
Peaking through the "window" of flowers and rail at the door of the hot house.
Sitting in the best seat in the yard!
Popple(Chad's grandfather) picked a flower for Kyndall.

We took Kyndall's bubbles and big ball. She played with the ball but wasn't so interested in the bubbles. However, she kept the spoon(in her right hand) with her ALL afternoon!

We would have played longer, but once we went in for pie, it started to rain so that was the end of our play day at Popple's house.

FRIDAY!

Friday! My weekend starts at 6:00 tonight, and I'm really excited about it! We don't have anything planned, but I'm ready for a break.
Today Chad is doing another full day of ride-alongs so he won't be home until sometime after 11 tonight. I'm not sure what Kyndall and I are doing this evening after work. We've been invited to a friends house, but I haven't heard back from her on details. If we don't go over there, than we'll come home and just hang out. I may try to weigh her on the Wii to see if we've broken the 19lb mark.
Tomorrow there isn't a lot going on either. I plan on trying to go through Kyndall's closet and weed out some clothes that she can't wear anymore or won't be able to wear because they are the wrong size for that season. I have 4 friends, that I can think of off the top of my head, that are all having girls somewhere between late July- late August! Other than that, I'm not sure what we'll do.
Sunday will be church and then just hanging out as a family that afternoon before the next week starts.
What are you doing this weekend?

Picture Me Monday

This weekend, Kyndall and I met up with 6 other moms and 7 other little ones. All the little ones were born between mid December 2008 and the end of January 2009.

This is a picture of our backs. We had matching shirts. You can't really see it, but it was the state of Texas on it and says "Less Than Three Texas Round Up" on it. The little ones had matching shirts with the image on the front and pink for the girls and blue for the boys.

Here we are facing the camera. We're all just a little crazy. :)

Pride

Pride is a sin. Sin is bad. God does not like sin.

We all sin. We all have pride.

Sometimes we need to get over ourselves and put down our pride and realize that we can't do it all on our own and that we need help. Help from God; help from people that God puts in our path on this journey called life.

That is something that I am learning. The hard way. I can't go on this journey alone. I need to get the "plank out of [my] own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye." Matt. 7:5.

Hopefully once I am through this time of trials and tribulation, I will be better and stronger. What doesn't kill ya, makes ya stronger, right?

Thoughtless Thursday

Thursday's mean Thoughtless Thursday over at Life in the Fulmer Lane.

Both of these pictures were taken Easter afternoon. We took Kyndall to see Granny and Pawpa.

Here she is "ignoring" Pawpa because he was trying to get bunny, which she had been giving to him and taking back all afternoon. Now, for her to give bunny to someone is a BIG thing. Kyndall doesn't just give bunny to just anyone, so Pawpa must be pretty special!

Now shes shaking her hips and laughing as if to say, "ha ha Pawpa, come and get me!"

She was being a total goof ball that afternoon. Shes such a ham!

Picture Me Monday

All of these pictures were taken yesterday, Easter Sunday 2010.

Here is Kyndall and me. We were coming up front to see what the Easter bunny had brought.

Here's Kyndall checking out all her goods! She made out like a bandit! She got a few books, 3 sheep, bubbles, eggs, a book that sings Jesus Loves Me, which she LOVES, and a new suitcase.

Here we all are dressed in our new fancy Easter clothes. I had to get a picture as proof that Chad does(sometimes) wear dress slacks! We are at Chad's dad's house.

FRIDAY!

Finally Friday! This week, Friday came a day early. Since today is Good Friday, I was off!
Kyndall let me sleep until about 7:45, but we cuddled in bed and watched Handy Manny until about 8:30. Chad had his ambulance ride-alongs today so he was up and at 'em around 6 this morning. I was thinking that if I knew I had to do those, I would be sick with nerves all the night before.
Kyndall and I went to Wal-Mart and got a few things, and then we went to eat with my aunt and her sister. They came all this way to give Kyndall her Easter gifts. So sweet! She got a bunny puzzle, a carrot that turns into a bunny with really big ears, and 4 little animal eggs. After lunch, Kyndall went down for a nap and I did some laundry. When Chad got home, we went outside and played with chalk. Then we went to eat with Chad's step-sister and 2 of our nieces and went to Target to look.
Tomorrow Kyndall and I are going to a birthday party. We may also go out to see Granny and Pawpa. I think we're going to dye eggs as well.
Sunday, of course is Easter! Which means fancy new clothes and celebrating the fact that Jesus rose from the grave after dieing on the cross bridging the gap between man(the sinner) and God. What could be more special and worth celebrating than that?

Thoughtless Thursday

Thursdays equal Katie's Thoughtless Thursday over at Life in the Fulmer Lane!

Today's picture is of Kyndall chowing down on Sour Patch Kids Bunnies. She thought she was hiding because she was on the other side of her little desk, but as you can see, I caught her in the act! However, it really wasn't a big deal because once she realized they were sour and not sweet, she didn't want them anymore.
